because i am so cool that i make up my own fan characters for movies about surfing penguins.

i drew him a couple hours after seeing the film, on the train to the reading festival.

his name is randal, he has big bushy liberty-spikey eyebrows and leopard print markings. he lives in santa barbara (apart from when he's doing tours and on pen gu island) and he is very cool.

this isn't entirely done, i'm painting a background type thing for him in a book, it's an a3 wave that looks kind of rubbish because i live in the middle of england and don't really know what waves look like all that much from first hand, ha.
